For this assignment, I decided to take pictures of my pool table in my basement. The lighting was pretty bad and I had to compensate for that but overall I'm pretty happy with the photos.
Technical info Shutter Speed-1 second Aperture-4.5 iso-100
Great photo. I like how you incorporated symmetry, colors, and creativity. Also, i think this photo is very solid technically. It's a little grainy but I can understand that since your shooting indoors. Great job!
I like the idea of taking pictures of the pool table. I like the symmetry in the picture. It really draws my eyes to the ball in the center. I like how you took the rest and separated them into the two groups. The background is really good and the depth of field in the rest of your pictures works really well.
I like how you set up the pool table...I personally like the photos you took where you zoomed in on the pool balls the best, but your best pic is good too!
Great job! I like this idea a lot. The pictures that are most interesting to me are the ones shot more up close. I like that you worked with the technical aspects to try to compensate for lighting and set up. I can see that you were going for balance in this picture; great job with set-up but I feel like the camera is tilted a little to the left...
These are really cool. the Symmetry in your best photo is amazing. The only things i would fix are that I would watch the grainyness and some of your pictures could be rotated a little to be straighter.
Great symmetry, but I would've gotten lower to the table to get more of a perspective from the top of the table. Great job though. Ready for the physics test? yikes!

ReplyDeleteI agree that it is a little grainy but it looks neat! There are nice leading lines. Great!

ReplyDeleteYour pictures are a bit grainy but i love how you got creative in using the pool table for still life. Good job!
